The Garden: The garden at Tudor Cottage is like a little slice of heaven. I sat there with a glass of wine, gazing out at the stunning views of Dunkery Beacon, feeling like I was in a fairytale. It was the perfect spot to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Mattress discomfort.

The staff were really accommodating and lovely and helped with free parking. There was lots of excellent meals. The location was stunning, for example, Lynch Chapel of Ease was about a 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. It was also not far from the cafes, pubs, and shops of nearby Porlock, the beach, and the National Trust.

The cottage is situated in a picturesque location, with beautiful gardens and friendly horses nearby. the breakfast options were plentiful, and they even catered well for vegetarians and vegans. Plus, the bar had a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices.
The mattress left a lot to be desired, as it was quite uncomfortable and gave us both backaches. the ticking noise from the electric heater was incredibly annoying, and we had to figure out how to stop it by switching it off at the socket.
